5 Ways to Thank Clients and Coworkers This Thanksgiving [LIST]

We love Thanksgiving here at LNE Consulting (Hollywood, FL)! It is a time for appreciating all that we have and all of the wonderful things that our clients and employees do for us. Giving thanks is an important thing to do because it reminds the people that you care about why they are so special to you.

In an age of rapidly increasing technology, personal displays of appreciation are diminishing through clicks and links, which can really take the meaning out of meaningful interactions. Here are 5 ways that you can thank your clients and coworkers this Thanksgiving!

1.  Handwritten Notes

We love in-person communication at LNE Consulting, but sometimes that isn’t always possible!

If there is anything that has been forgotten in this fast-moving society we live in – it’s handwritten letters! What’s actually great about this, though, is that writing someone a letter by hand has become a sincere display of appreciation. Sending a text message or a copy-and-pasted generic email is easy, and therefore has less meaning. Make sure to pull out a pad and paper and wish your customers and coworkers a Happy Thanksgiving, while including some reasons why you appreciate them!

Make sure to pull out a pad and paper and wish your customers and co-workers a Happy Thanksgiving. Don’t forget to include a few reasons why you appreciate them!

2. Get Specific

Don’t be generic with your ‘thank you’ greetings! Thank that employee for staying late all week to work on that project. Let that client know how much you appreciated that referral they gave you last month. Make sure to be as specific as possible and it will make the recipient feel important and thankful for you as well — an ongoing cycle of admiration!

3. Add a Gift

If you really want to go above and beyond this Thanksgiving, add a little gift to show how thankful you really are! It does not have to be expensive to be impactful. Going the extra mile and showing the recipient that you care enough to buy a little something for them will mean the world!

4. Make it Personal

If your client is located in the Northeast, tell them that you hope they are enjoying the fall weather. Even beter, why not wish your client’s children good wishes by name? I hope Billy and Sally enjoy the Tofurkey! Maybe even check out the Thanksgiving Day football schedule and wish your client’s team good luck! Remembering and acknowledging small details are key to showing people that you care, which is a small facet of the relationship-building strategy we have at LNE Consulting.

5. Include a Recipe

This adds some more spice — pun intended — to the personal effect of your gratitude. Along with the other thankful, personal, and specific things that you say to your client or coworker – send them a little recipe to make for their family’s feast!

If you have a famous stuffing recipe that kills on Thanksgiving, don’t be afraid to share the secret with the person to whom you’re giving thanks! It’s personal touches like this that keep clients and employees engaged and excited to be involved with you!

How to Effectively Dress for Success [3 Easy Rules]

Here at LNE Consulting, one of our biggest keys to success is having high standards. This, in part, means dressing professionally and looking the part. They say that your appearance subconsciously dictates how you are perceived by others. So it only makes sense that dressing professionally boosts your reputation and can help you expand your network.

Aspromonte-Marketing

That doesn’t mean you have to spend 4 digits on a suit or splurge on a pair of nice dress shoes. Looking professional can actually be boiled down into a few basic rules. You’ll come to find that it’s not as difficult as you think.

Rule #1: Be clean and crisp

It doesn’t matter what brand you wear or how much something costs. The truth is, if you take care of your clothes properly then you’re bound to look presentable. A $200 shirt can actually look worse than a $10 shirt if it’s not properly cleaned and pressed. What it comes down to is cleaning your clothes per that little label on the inside, hanging them on a hanger, and ironing them if need be. If you take care of your clothes, they’ll take care of you!

Rule #2: Find a color medium

aspromonte-marketing-2

It’s hard to take someone seriously when they look like a bag of skittles. The way you dress is a testament to who you are, so feel free to give it a little flare, but keep it professional. Throw in one or two articles of clothing that make your outfit pop – but that still allow you to be taken seriously.

Rule #3: Dress for the occasion

Most people have an outfit or two that makes them feel invincible. Be sure to have a sharp suit and well-kept shoes on reserve so that you’re ready to look presentable if you’re invited to an event or a meeting with a client. Never underdress. It’s significantly harder to overdress than underdress, so play it safe by pulling yourself together!

It’s not about your style or how much money you spend on clothes. It’s how you present yourself with what you have. At LNE Consulting we know being professional is the name of the game, and dressing appropriately is a large component of that.

Celebrating National Left Handers Day: 5 Quotes From Famous Left-handed People [LIST]

Here at LNE Consulting (Hollywood, FL), we celebrate originality! Did you know that only 10% of the world’s population is left-handed? To some, it may seem like a disadvantage because the world is essentially built to fit right-handed folks! Smudging ink on your hand while writing on a piece of paper, unfitting “righty” desks in the classroom, and even screwing in a light bulb, the life of a lefty is full of frustrating obstacles. In celebration of National Left Handers Day on August 13th, here are 5 quotes from famous left-handed people!

Screen Shot 2017-06-16 at 3.43.07 PM

Jerry Seinfeld, the famous stand-up comedian, and star of hit TV show Seinfeld is a lefty! Considering that he wrote all of his jokes and all of the scripts for Seinfeld by hand, being a lefty had to be frustrating for Jerry. The superstar knows hard work and determination like the back of his hand (pun intended) and understands the necessity for new challenges because it’s all part of the process!

Screen Shot 2017-06-16 at 3.51.31 PM

Morgan Freeman, the golden-voiced actor is also left-handed! He is an epic movie star who also has a successful career in narration due to his soothing voice. Freeman clearly believes that actions speak louder than words – a principle that we also stand by here at LNE Consulting!

The producer, philanthropist, actress, and talk show host sure does have her hands in a lot of creative outlets – her best hand though? You guessed it – her left! Oprah has always maintained a very positive outlook on life and the world around her, which is why it is not surprising that she is so successful. Like all successful people, Winfrey acknowledges failure, but only as an opportunity to keep moving forward!

Screen Shot 2017-06-16 at 4.09.36 PM

As an author, philanthropist, investor, and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates is one of the most successful left-handed people alive today. Co-founding Microsoft is not something that happens overnight, especially since the company was started in Bill’s garage! His patience, hard work, and determination are what made him the enormous success that he is today!

The Canadian singer and businesswoman is one of the most famous performers in the industry! Celine Dion also holds her microphone with her left hand! Of course, not just her microphone – she is an all-around lefty! Celine understands that we cannot always control the hardships that life throws at us; however, we do control our reaction and response moving forward!

3 Quotes From Football Stars to Pump You Up

The wait is over! Pre-season is finally here. All of us at LNE Consulting (Hollywood, FL) are thrilled to have our beloved Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays back. Football is for friends, family, food, and entertainment — perfect for decompressing after work and right before Monday. In honor of football’s long-awaited return, here are 3 quotes from some well-known, hard-working, and successful football stars.

“I don’t care about three years ago… I don’t care about two years ago. I don’t care about last year. The only things I care about is this week.” – Tom Brady

Tom Brady, the 5 Time Superbowl Champion, lives, breathes and plays with an urgent sense of hard work. He maintains an immaculate diet, practices as much as possible, and has shattered records throughout his career. Champions do not dwell on the past – it is a powerful mindset that is a prerequisite for success and one that we promote here at LNE Consulting.

“You know, I never looked down the road and said, ‘Hey look, one day, the Hall of Fame.’ It’s always about playing each and every game 100 percent and I thank my teammates for getting me into the Hall because football is a team sport, not an individual sport” – Jerry Rice

The NFL Hall of Famer holds multiple records in the NFL while being selected for the Pro Bowl 13 times and named All-Pro 12 times. Rice’s 20 years in the NFL were impressive ones; however one of the reasons that he was so successful was because he was attentive and in the moment. It is not intelligent to dwell on the past, but it also important to remember to stay in the moment and not worry about the future. Always give 100% in the moment and the future will be taken care of.

“Success isn’t owned. It’s leased – and rent is due every day.” – JJ Watt

JJ Watt, who is a defensive weapon for the Houston Texans, is a powerhouse player who has set NFL records and played through injuries to prove doubters wrong. He understands that success is not a one-time deal that is over and done with – that’s why you need to stay consistent and work hard every single day. We operate on that belief daily here at LNE Consulting.

Get to Know LNE Consulting Team Member Jovani Rodriguez

At LNE Consulting we understand how significant our team members are to the work we do, so we thought we’d take a moment to sit down with one of them and get to know a bit about the people who make LNE Consulting the close-knit company that it is. Today we did a little question, answer interview with Jovani Rodriguez who has only been with the company for 16 months and yet has made a very large impact with his positive attitude and go-getter mentality.

18449453_10155258754490126_8358730134459771291_oQ: Can you tell us about your manager? What is the best part of working with him/her?

A: Mrs. Julie Edmonds is an amazing manager, her desire and motivation to help others is incredible. She is very determined and focuses on continuing to grow and bring out the best in others. She’s also very humble and caring. One of the things that she does that makes me laugh is when she starts laughing it’s like she can’t stop and just keep laughing and laughing continuously! The best part of working with Julie is knowing how successful she is and that she is willing to help me accomplish my goals!

Q: Describe the people that you work with.  What are they like?

A: The people I work with in the office are great! Everybody is very motivated and fun to work with. Some are motivated to give their family a better lifestyle, others are motivated to become their own boss and impact others lives positively.  It’s great to surround yourself with successful people and learn from one another. My assistant manager, Otto Hurtado, has become like a brother to me and he is someone I’m very grateful to be able to work with.

Q: What have been some of your favorite team night activities? In your own words, why do you think team nights are important?

A: Team nights are extremely important it gives us an opportunity to bond, create great relationships and have a lot of fun! One of my favorites is when we go bowling! Or go watch sports.

Everything that Jovani had to say about the close relationship he has with his LNE family is exactly the kind of thing that LNE strives to promote with our employees. We are so glad to have Jovani as a part of our team. Thank you Jovani!

2 Quotes About Goal-Setting to Motivate You Today

Did you know that goal-setting is not just a weekly and monthly process at LNE Consulting, but a daily one? This is one of the activities that our CEO, Julie Edmonds, attributes to almost two decades of business success. In our experience, taking the time to think about and write down our goals provides essential clarity to the activities of the day. When each member of the team knows what he or she is striving for, we are able to hit the start button for the day and run like a well-oiled machine.

giphy1

Importantly, goal-setting creates accountability. If Jovani and Leidis, team leaders at LNE Consulting, write down their goals and exceed them, we know that they deserve an extra pat on the back that day! Likewise, if one of their counterparts falls short of his goals, we know that it might be time for some mentoring, or at least a pep talk to bring him up to speed. Either way, our written goals provide a checklist at the end of each day, week, month, quarter, and year, making it easy to measure progress.

Here’s the first quote that we’re loving today! …

“Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don’t quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don’t quit until you reach it. Never quit.” –Bear Bryant

The Alabama football coach couldn’t be more right! Quitting is so easy. And of course, the things that are easy are always the most tempting.

giphy2

And here’s another!

“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” –Bill Copeland

Another excellent point — surprisingly not from a sports icon, though it sounds that way! Copeland, an American poet and writer, makes a case for deciding what matters to you. It’s not unlike this famous scene from Alice in Wonderland:

2 Success Quotes that Will Give You Necessary Food for Thought

lne-consulting-1At LNE Consulting we believe that the road to success is almost entirely a mental one. Sure, hard work has its physical components; but, the ability to take action starts in the mind. The rare qualities of self-discipline, grit, optimism, and perseverance are those that separate the successful from the unsuccessful.

Let’s take a look at two of LNE Consulting’s favorite quotes that demonstrate this very thing:

“Pressure can bust pipes, but it also can make diamonds.”  – Robert Horry

We love this quote because it’s all about perspective. Pressure can be destructive, there’s no doubt. But it can also have truly wonderful consequences. If you ask anyone who’s been successful in business (or in any field, for that matter!), they will tell you that they are thankful for the tough lessons they’ve learned along the way.

For every handful of people who cave to pressure and end up giving up, there’s always that success-minded person who makes the decision to turn a potential negative into a real positive. The strongest, most experienced, most successful people are those who have simply toughed it out.

“If I fail more than you, I win.”  – Seth Godin

As confusing as this quote seems at first glance, it’s really quite simple. No one becomes an expert without screwing up. In fact, the fastest way to become successful is to fail as often as possible and learn from your mistakes. Think of the most successful person you know. Do you think that person got there by being flawless and perfect at every moment? We think not! In fact, we know not!

The reason this quote makes sense is because successful people fall hard and then they don’t stop there. They recover from their failure and then they fail again! And again, and again, and again.

Unsuccessful people, however, are often deterred by a single failure. In fact, many people are deterred by the very idea of failure. So, for the people that have the guts to keep on failing, they are eventually going to figure it out, and therefore win.

How to Make 2017 Your Year!

The 2016 year was an incredible one at LNE Consulting. The new year kicked off five days ago, and we’ve already made big plans. Here, we are going to share our secrets to making the year work for you too!

Here we go…

Set goals – Or as some people want to call them, resolutions. We prefer goals. Are you going to just let 2017 happen to you… or are you going to make something happen this year? At LNE Consulting we choose the latter. The only way to ensure you do is to set some goals that you’re committed to achieving, come hell or high water.

3o7abnnjtcwfuvnadeHave a plan – You can’t just wish for things to happen. If you’ve set goals before but haven’t achieved them, maybe it’s in your action plan. What if you decided to bake a cake but had no recipe… how would that turn out? The same thing happens when setting goals!

Choose your company wisely – Spend less time with people who bring you down. It seems pretty straight forward but those people are the ones who deter you from being the best version of you. They also end up being the ones who interfere with achieving your goals. So ask yourself, are these people bringing the good or bad out in me? You’ll know what to do from there.

l2sqesgxra4kd1epiStop waiting and start doing – Here at LNE Consulting, we are all about taking action. Our entire advancement process is based upon performance for that very reason. We aren’t going to reward someone for just waiting out their time, they have to perform or take action. The same is true in life. Nothing is going to just happen without effort, so this year, it’s time to make some serious moves!

Decide to be happy – When it’s all said and done, being happy is what counts. The good news? That’s a choice that you get to make every single day. Choose to be happy, see the good in situations, even make changes if you what you are doing currently isn’t making you happy but it’s all in your hands.

To learn more about our goals and how we plan on achieving them this year, follow LNE Consulting on LinkedIn.

The Countdown Has Started: Here’s How to Make the Most Out of the 10 Remaining Days of 2016

lne-consulting-hollywood-christmas201616Whether you’re planning to hustle through the holidays or catch up on some rest and relaxation (or both!), LNE Consulting has some great tips for you to maximize the most wonderful time of the year!

1. Remember that the best “present” is your “presence” — and by that we mean your full attention. It’s important to set boundaries between work time and family time. Whether you’re hanging out with your favorite or least favorite family member (ha!), it’s important to put your phone and laptop away. You’ve probably been on the receiving end of this pesky habit, so you know what it feels like. If you plan on working during your holiday vacation, do so, by all means! Just remember to give 100% of your attention to the task at hand, especially if it’s time that should be designated for connecting with loved ones.

3o7tkwj24u9qq3z6zc2. Do everything you can to end the year with a bang. There are still 10 days left in the year to gain ground on hitting your goals. Or, depending on your actions, that’s 240 lost hours that are chalked up to ‘next year will be my year.’ Just because the year is waning, doesn’t mean that your work ethic or attitude have to.  If you’ve got an important goal, why wait until a certain day to get going? Not to mention, we’ve learned throughout LNE Consulting‘s history is that the more momentum you have as the year closes, the easier it will be to pick back up as soon as the ball drops.

3. Set new goals that you care deeply about. New Years Resolutions are a dime a dozen and only a fraction ever come to fruition. There are many reasons for this, but the common denominator in failed goals is the lack of commitment to seeing them through. If you decide to jump on the New Years Resolutions Bandwagon, do so with vigor. Write your goals down. Discuss them in detail with a mentor. Share them with your friends and family. Head into 2017 with the utmost resolve to accomplish what you’ve set your mind to. Oh, and whatever you do, don’t choose your goals haphazardly over your midnight glass of champagne!

lne-consulting-hollywood-christmas201664. Relax! Meditate! Breath! If you’re avid Stephen Covey fans like we are at LNE Consulting, you’ve heard of “sharpening the saw.” As the story goes, an exhausted woodcutter was attempting to saw down a tree. An onlooker suggested that he stop to sharpen his saw, to which he replied that he didn’t have time to take a break. Now that’s silly! Sharpening the saw is different for every individual, but the idea is to renew yourself. Our CEO, Julie Edmonds, for example, is a big fan of daily meditation. By quieting her mind she is able to stay grounded and run the successful business that she does. The holidays can be a busy time, so don’t forget to take some time to yourself to rejuvenate.

There’s a whole lot of action happening at LNE Consulting. If you’d like to stay up to date with the team be sure to follow us on Instagram @LNE_Consulting!

4 Tips from LNE Consulting to Stay #1

lne-consulting-hollywood

At LNE Consulting, no challenge is too big for our Hollywood, Florida-based team. We deliver quality, tangible results for our clients in the most cost-effective way. Recently being considered the top outsourced sales and marketing company for one of the largest mobile telecommunications companies in the world, our goals still remain even bigger. When you are at the top – there’s only one way to go if you do not keep up the work that it took to get you there. We wanted to share how we plan to stay at the top as the #1 vendor of choice for our clients, take a look!

Raise the bar: You cannot become complacent. Just because you have reached the top does NOT mean that you can take your foot off of the gas. In actuality, this is the time to push harder! Even if someone else has never done it before does not mean it is impossible… it’s just never been done. Why can’t you be the one to do it? Management at LNE Consulting is always encouraging employees to improve on their personal best. This is how, time and time again, we can continue to raise our standards.

Self-Improvement: When you’re at the top, everyone is coming for your spot! You have to continue to develop yourself personally and professionally to stay ahead of them. Mark Cuban said is best when he said, “You have to work like there’s someone else out there working 24 hours a day to take it all away from you.”

Fuel your passion: It’s simple…when you are happy you produce better results. Find an aspect of what you are doing that truly enjoy and do more of it! If it is a hobby, or relationships, or philanthropy, be sure to schedule time for yourself to do those things. The LNE Consulting team regularly sets up different charity events and office outings to create a good work / life balance within the company.

Surround yourself with positive influences: Having a positive mental attitude is crucial in order to get to, and stay at the top, of your game. Being around people with similar goals and attitudes will only strengthen yours. When times get rocky it’s even more important to be around those who will help lift you up rather than keep knocking you down. At LNE Consulting this is one of the most important factors to our success.
